*Tree Care Worker

Partial Job Description:

Uses hand lines to lower limbs and equipment

Unloads, lays out, prepares and stows materials, tools and equipment at work site.

Works from the ground using handsaws, poles saws. Drives trucks or operates other equipment as assigned. Such as log movers, stump grinders, etc.

Services trucks and equipment. Keeps trucks and other assigned equipment in a neat and orderly fashion. Reports the need for repairs to truck and equipment to crew leader.

Safeguards employees and public from hazards in and around the work area, staying in frequent communication with workers aloft.

Participates in weekly safety meeting and daily job briefings.

Adheres to all industry and company safety standards and policies including the use of PPE at all times. Helps enforce job safety practices.

Keeps work area clean and orderly.

Performs related work as assigned.


Operates and maintains chippers, chainsaws, and all other equipment in a safe manner

Prior experience with trimming, limbing, chipper and saw operation is preferred.

A clean valid Driver’s License is required

Must be able to carry 50lbs at minimum and work outside in all weather conditions

Applicant would have documented Forest Service/Sawyer history and Equipment operation experience.
Pay is hourly depending on experience with a minimum of $12./hr for entry level applicants and up to $24./hr. for those with foreman experience.


Firewood Processor/Yard Help


18+ yrs old
Strong back and ability to lift 80+lbs consistantly for 4hrs+
Pass random drug screening tests.
Willingness to follow protocol and wear all required PPE. (ie: Steel toed boots)
Reliable transportation to and from work

Job Type:

Part Time & Possible Flexible schedule.
On call as needed/available.
4-8hr shifts


Use of company provided hydraulic log splitters and related equipment.
Processing of (already cut to length logs: 14-16''L) rounds into firewood sized pieces.
Sort, load and sell firewood to customers.
Misc. yard duties such as greasing & cleaning equipment etc.

This is an entry level position which could lead into other positions within the company.
Yard workers may be asked to assist with customer projects as needed.




*Ground Worker/ Landscaper

Duties include hauling brush and wood from the tree to the truck, assisting the tree climber, using various hand and power tools, and cleaning the job site. Prior experience working in the tree industry or a related field is a requirement for this position.

Basic Requirements:

-Valid MT DL with clean record
-18+ Yrs. Old

Basic Responsibilities:

Loading/Unloading Equipment & Materials
Jobsite Safety & Traffic Control
Jobsite Cleanup
Landscape Labor
Forestry Labor
Operation of commercial tree chipper, chainsaws & related power and hand tools.


$14.-$22./hr DOE


*Landscape / Tree Foreman

Basic Requirements:

Arborist Certification
Valid Driver’s License, clean driving history with Class A CDL.
3-5 years of basic landscape / tree care experience.
1-2 years of management experience.
Basic sprinkler repair/installation knowledge.
Experience in installing hardscapes and softscapes.

2-3 years running equipment (Dingos, skid steers, compact loaders, mini-excavators, chippers etc.)
Proficient with smartphones, excel, word, and able and willing to learn new software.
Able to lift 80 lbs. and work 8-12 hours a day, 5-6 days week.
Work year round and available 24/7 during winter snow removal season.
Properly plant various trees, shrubs and plants.
Read/interpret blueprints and designs.

Preferred but not required:

Department of Agriculture Pesticide/Herbicide License
ISA Certified Arborist

Required: MT DL & Class A CDL

Basic Responsibilities:

Organize crews & equipment each morning.
Vehicle & Equipment safety/pre-trip inspections.
Ensure quality on jobs with regards to work ethic, safety and productivity.
Teach crews on proper safety, company policy & efficient production techniques.
Work with customers and final walk through job review.
Work with sub-contractors in a professional and timely manner.
Climbing & Bucket Truck operation is required.
All phases of pruning, tree removal, forestry, ground work, landscaping & snow removal.


$18-$36. per hour DOE
